Education

Graduated High School with Academic Honors Diploma in Logansport, IN. I went to a IUPUI in Indianapolis for 3 years full time majoring in physical therapy, psychology, and fitness and sports studies. I attended a Ivy Tech in Lafayette, IN part time for 2 years with the intent of finishing my degree in exercise science. I will be returning this fall (2015) to USF to finish my undergraduate program in a health science field and applying for the exercise science program. I have completed 94 college credits total.

Experience

I want to be a tutor because I have a passion for helping out kids and I will be taking my GRE within the next 2 years, I believe tutoring will help me with my testing. I have tutored a 4th grader in the past for a couple years in math from 2004-2006. In high-school, I've taken Geometry, Algebra I, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus. In college I've taken Intro to Algebra, Algebra, Trigonometry with Analytic Geometry, and Physics I. I also took Principals and Practices of Exercise Science, Intro to Exercise Science, Anatomy and Physiology I and II. I've been a personal trainer for 11 years certified by NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine)

Hobbies

I played professional soccer for FCI in 2007 winning a National Title and then again in 2008 winning another National Title. I played basketball, soccer, and ran track through high-school, went on to play soccer. I became a certified personal trainer in 2005 through National Academy of Sports Medicine and I am continuing my college education with a Masters degree in Exercise Science. I love animals, kids, and have worked athletically with kids my entire life through sports, coaching, and camps. I have a great sense of humor and love the challenge of adapting to any environment. I'm very health conscious, I have an 11 year old dog and a 1 year old cat. Life is exactly what you make it!
