Experience
I have now been tutoring for around 4 years (Since Junior High) and the satisfaction of working with a couple of students in subject areas that I found as second nature, and seeing their improved grades and smiley faces came as second to none. I was referred to University-Tutor by a colleague during a discussion of how I can study for my engineering degree while having something flexible enough with my timetable to continue my passion of tutoring. After issues with tutoring meeting times and far distances from meeting points after school, I decided to go online, and I remembered University Tutor. I have tutored Elementary to College AP (Physics, Algebra and Calculus).

Hobbies
Non-tutoring Areas : Non-tutoring areas would more than likely fall with robotics tutorials with 3rd-6th graders in one group as well as with ages 12-18 years in another. Over the years, I have also been a Camp Counselor (4th-6th graders), Bible School Teacher (6th-12th graders) as well as a Dean of Discipline's & Guidance counselor's assistant (both being 6th-12th graders) . A Tutoring Memory : I remember tutoring a college student Algebra. We were preparing for a test she had in the upcoming week. She was so worried!, as was I. She missed a couple of classes with me unfortunately, and asked if I could assist her in covering the necessary topics. So we went on through the day practicing questions and allowing her to do multiple on her own. Through trial and error, we learnt together. She then said to me, at the end of the session emotively, I can not fail this course Jordane. Even though she missed some core classes, I continued to give her the benefit of the doubt. Days passed and I also worried (LOL), she came back and told me with the biggest smile "I aced it!". An example of the great satisfaction of tutoring. Daily Learning : As a result of the combination of a demanding engineering degree, robotics club as well as inquiring colleagues and students, I am always forced to learn new concepts in Mathematics, Programming and Physics. Preparation for international science competitions, personal electrical and computer science projects as well as future teaching certifications in both Mathematics and Physics, I perceive learning as a daily experience.
