Hello! My name is Sarah D. I am a 17th grader who recently graduated from Boston University with a degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences and a minor in Deaf studies. I am now taking pre-requisite science courses for medical school at the University of South Florida and working on the ambulance as an EMT.
Experience
In college, I volunteered as a tutor in American Sign Language and LOVED it. I would like to tutor ASL again as I had taken ASL 1-5 and worked in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Unit at Boston Children's Hospital and miss signing dearly. I also find joy in being able to make a difference in the Deaf community by making ASL more accessible. I love science and have taken many biology courses at BU.
