Experience
I have been a learning specialist and substitute teacher for the past two years working with age groups from k-12th grade and a variety of subjects and behaviors. I particularly enjoy reading and writing and have taken classes in this area. My experience mainly includes working with developmental disabilities such as autism, adhd, and odd. I currently work with students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. I have enjoyed working with those students in an educational and therapeutic setting. Some other experience includes carrying out treatment plans and working on strategies to help with the developmental needs. I have been working with children in other areas such as care giving, day care, and therapy for the past 12 years.
